Same message sent to me. I googled the number, and checked my PayPal account. Found no such transaction. Also NOT PayPal's number! FRAUD !

I received the same "PayPal" email that J. Sanders did prompting me to call the same phone number. I've never had a PayPal account. 100% a scam.

I received an email stating they recently detected a transaction on my PayPal account for purchase of Bitcoin valued at 349.99 USD on Mar 12, 2025 originating from a location in Texas. Their system has flagged the transaction due to potential security concerns, and temporarily suspended my acct. Then they said to call them right away. So I looked up PayPal Security phone number, and it is not the number they said to call.
