After filing an estimated FTB payment for 2022 I received a lengthy voice msg from this number. In it they refer to themselves as a "tax resolution center." After calling them back and asking how they got my information they said I must have left an inquiry or filled out a form asking for their help. When I say this is not true they hang up. This is approximately fifth time they have done this. I phoned them back several times to no avail...they laugh and just keep hanging up on me. How are they getting my number? And why after filing my taxes online? Is nothing secure??
