Caller difficult to understand due to thick Indian accent, I was them connect to another person due to this, her name was Sophie (also Indian but easier to understand) Company claiming to be Techno Mex Mobile or TM Mobile advising my number was selected to receive a new phone worth $899 for 50% discount no payment required today. Phone is a Doogee X95. No card details requested only bank details for direct debit arranged for next month first installment of $80. I gave an account that has never been used (therefore no funds to pilfer) and parcel locker so no address given and changed my last name. I'm considering putting the first installment into the account for the pending payment and seeing if the phone gets sent... realistically $80 isn't much to lose if they do send it and if not I'll contact the bank and declare it was fraudulent and hopefully get it back and if not I won't b putting any further funds into the account and will close it. No skin off my nose
